Walnut Chocolate Chip Pie Recipe
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 4 Large eggs
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 3 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 c. coarsely minced walnuts
- Dash of salt
- Line pie plate with pastry.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips in bottom.
- Beat Large eggs slightly, add in sugar; stir till sugar is dissolved.
- Add in corn syrup, butter and vanilla.
- Stir in walnuts and salt.
- Pour filling into pastry.
- Cover edge of pie with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 25 min.
- Remove foil and bake for 30 to 35 min longer.
- Cold.
