Vickys Moroccan-Style Mint Tea, Gluten, Dairy, Egg & Soy-Free
- 1920 ml water
- 3 tbsp loose green tea or 5 teabags
- 1 bunch mint leaves
- 100 grams sugar + extra to taste
- Boil the water in either a kettle or a saucepan
- Turn off the heat, add the tea, cover and let steep for 5 minutes
- Add the mint leaves and continue steeping for a further 5 minutes
- Stir in the sugar until dissolved then strain into a jug
- Serve hot with a sprig of mint or serve chilled over ice
- The sugar can be substituted for 60mls of agave nectar + to taste
