Red-Hot Sesame Dressing

  1. Heat a small dry skillet over low heat.
  2. Add sesame seeds and stir constantly until golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  3. Transfer to a small bowl and let cool.
  4. Whisk soy sauce, vinegar, oil, garlic, sugar and chili puree in another bowl until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Stir in scallions and sesame seeds.
  6. Makes about 3/4 cup.
  7. Note: Will keep in refridgerator up to 1 week.
