White Chocolate Macadamia Pumpkin Bars
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup butter
- 12 cup sugar
- 12 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 (12 ounce) package white chocolate chips
- 23 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine first four ingredients in bowl.
- In seperate bowl beat together butter, sugar, and brown sugar; until creamy.
- Mix in pumpkin, egg, and vanilla; until blended.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture, then ad nuts and mix well.
- Spread mixture into buttered baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees until center sets.
- About 30 minutes.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate and let cool.
- I like to melt my chocolate in a glass in boiling water (stiring frequently) It also works well if you melt it in a zip lock bag in the micro-wave, kneading every 30 seconds after the first minute.
- Then you just cut the corner off the bag and squeeze it out.
