Sauerkraut With Spareribs Recipe
- 1 pound 11 ounce. can or possibly bag sauerkraut
- 1 tart apple, peeled and minced
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- Spareribs
- 1 1/2 c. water
- Drain the kraut and combine in a Dutch oven or possibly covered pan (roasting) with all ingredients except meat.
- After all is mixed, place spareribs cut in serving pcs on top.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hrs.
- Uncover and bake 30 min or possibly till tender.
