Rye Rickey
- Juice of one small lime, rind reserved
- 2 ounces rye or bourbon
- 1 teaspoon orange Curacao or Cointreau
- Seltzer or club soda, chilled
- Stir the lime juice, rye or bourbon and orange Curacao or Cointreau in an 8-ounce glass with 2 ice cubes.
- If you like, drop in the rind of half a lime.
- Top off with soda, stir gently and serve with a straw trimmed to extend over lip of glass by 2 inches or so, if necessary.
