Margaret's Famous Meatballs and Gravy

  1. Combine the first 6 ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Shape into large meatballs.
  3. Brown in bacon drippings and remove to a platter.
  4. Add flour to drippings and cook until it is dark brown.
  5. Add remaining soup mix and water.
  6. Season to taste.
  7. Return meatballs to gravy and simmer, covered for one hour.
