Green Fried Tomatoes

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a large plastic bag.
  2. Add tomato slices, 1 or 2 at a time; shake to coat.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet on medium heat.
  4. Add tomato slices a few at a time; brown lightly on both sides.
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve hot.
  7. Makes 6 servings.
