Easy Layered Salad Recipe
- 1 (16 ounce.) can early peas (sm.)
- 1/3 head Iceberg lettuce (approx. 2 c.)
- 1 c. minced green pepper
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- Kraft mayonnaise (approx. 1 c.)
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- Bacon bits or possibly 1/4 pound bacon, cooked & crumbled
- In 9"x13" Pyrex dish layer the shredded iceberg lettuce on bottom to cover.
- Next layer the green pepper, then onion.
- Layer the peas last and spread mayonnaise over the top.
- (The peas won't be completely covered.)
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese to cover the peas and mayonnaise.
- Then sprinkle on bacon; refrigerateand enjoy.
- Will keep for several days.
