Corn Fritters

  1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. Combine egg, milk and shortening.
  3. Blend in flour mixture.
  4. Mix well, add corn.
  5. Heat lard, to make 1/2 in bottom of skillet.
  6. Drop by tbsp and fry.
