Peachy Barbecued Spareribs Recipe
- 3 lbs. country style spareribs
- 1 lg. can peaches
- 1 c. ketchup
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp. instant chopped onion or possibly 1/4 c. raw chopped onion
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd cloves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a shallow pan, arrange ribs in a single layer, meaty side up.
- Drain peach liquid into a saucepan, reserving peaches.
- Add in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion, flour, mustard, cloves, salt, and pepper to peach syrup.
- Blend well and bring to a boil.
- Pour over ribs and bake about 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till fork tender, turning once.
- Arrange peaches around ribs and baste them with the sauce.
- Bake another 5 min or possibly till peaches are warm.
- Makes 4 to 6 servings.
