Asian Skillet Noodles With Vegetables Recipe

  1. Cook pasta in rapidly boiling water, stirring often, till al dente; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare sauce: Heat oil and sherry in a medium saucepan.
  3. Add in garlic, mixed vegetables, peas, ginger and mushrooms if you like.
  4. Cook till vegetables are tender and liquid has reduced, 5-10 min.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in mirin, sesame oil, say sauce and cooked noodles.
  7. Heat through.
  8. Serve warm.
  9. NOTES : Not "authentic" but a quick, tasty, adaptable dinner.
  10. Use jarred garlic and ginger to save time.
