Hungarian Goulash

  1. Melt the butter and brown onion, garlic and beef.
  2. Add the tomato sauce, spices, mushrooms and 1 cup water.
  3. Simmer and stir occasionally for 2 hours.
  4. Add 1/2 cup water and flour to thicken.
  5. Serve over egg noodles.
