Sirloin With Bacon Dijon Sauce
- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon bacon grease
- 1 lb boneless sirloin steak
- 12 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 12 cup beef broth
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 18 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 12 cup sliced green onion
- Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until crisp.
- Remove bacon from skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Reserve 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in skillet.
- Cut beef into 4 serving pieces.
- Sprinkle with seasoned salt.
- Cook beef in bacon grease in skillet over medium heat, about 6 minutes, turning over or until desired doneness.
- Remove beef from skillet and cover to keep warm.
- Mix beef broth, mustard, thyme, and green onions in skillet.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring until slightly thickened.
- Serve over beef.
- Sprinkle beef with bacon.
