Turkey Sausage Pan Roast Recipe
- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch pcs
- 2 lg. carrots, scraped & thinly sliced
- 1 pound potatoes, thinly sliced
- 3 c. (sm. bunch) fresh broccoli, cut into 2 inch pcs
- 1 med. onion, halved & sliced
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 pound link turkey sausage, cut into 1/2 inch slices
- 3/4 c. water
- In large skillet, over low heat, cook bacon till crisp.
- Remove with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels.
- Add in vegetables and seasonings to pan drippings.
- Cook over medium heat, 5 min, tossing frequently.
- Add in turkey slices and water.
- Cover and cook on medium-low heat, 15 to 20 min or possibly till potatoes are tender, tossing occasionally.
- Crumble bacon, sprinkle on top.
- Serves 4 to 6.
