Panko & Sesame-Crusted Cod with Sriracha Tartar Sauce
- 3 cups Kraft Tartar Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Sriracha sauce (hot chili sauce)
- 12 each eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. Coarsely ground black pepper
- 4-1/2 cups panko bread crumbs
- 1-1/2 cups sesame seed
- - cod fillets, cut into 3-oz. strips
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1-1/2 gal. frozen steak fries, crisply cooked
- 24 each lemon wedges
- Mix tartar sauce and Sriracha until well blended.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Mix eggs, sesame oil, salt and pepper in shallow container.
- Combine bread crumbs and sesame seed in second container.
- Lightly dredge fish in flour.
- Dip into egg mixture, then into bread crumb mixture, turning to evenly coat all sides.
- Fry in 325F (160C) deep fryer 4 to 5 min.
- or until cooked through and golden brown.
- For each serving: Serve 6 oz.
- (170g) fish with 2 Tbsp.
- (30 mL) sauce mixture, 1 cup (250 mL) fries and a lemon wedge.
