Lemon Pilaf With Raisins and Almonds
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 6 cardamom pods
- 3 cloves
- 1 lemon, zest of
- 1 12 cups chicken stock
- 12 cup raisins
- 12 cup slivered almonds
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Sautee onion, garlic, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.
- Add in raw rice and zest of a lemon.
- Season to taste.
- Put into rice cooker along with stock.
- Let cook.
- 5 mins before its done, add raisins in and continue cooking for 5 minute.
- Serve sprinkled with almonds.
