Pineapple Saffron Martini

  1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Top with ice and shake vigorously.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Garnish with a few saffron threads.
  5. Saffron syrup: Combine sugar and water in a saucepan.
  6. Heat over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
  7. Add about saffron threads.
  8. Continue heating for about 5 minutes.
  9. Take off heat and let cool.
  10. Do not strain as saffron threads will continue to infuse into syrup.
  11. Bottle and refrigerate.
