My Drunken Turkey for thanksgiving dinner
- 750 ml Dark Rum ( you can use any kind)
- 2 gallon chicken stock or chicken broth
- 1 each onion roughly chopped
- 1 bunch celery roughly chopped
- 1 bunch sage
- 5 bay leaf
- 1 gallon milk
- 1 bunch thyme
- 10 each black pepper (whole)
- 3 tbsp ground cumin
- 10 clove garlic cloves
- 5 tbsp dry oregano
- each turkey
- Mix everything together and let sit in the fridge for 2 days
- Take the Turkey out and put on a roasting pan with some of the juice bout 1 in.
- Pre-heat oven to 250
- Cover the Turkey with foil and put in the oven for 16 hrs.
- Uncover the Turkey after the 16 hrs and broil for 5 mins or till crispy on the outside
- Turn the Turkey on the other side and do the same broil for bout 5 mins and your done enjoy!
