Moroccan Mint Tea

  1. In a large pot over high heat bring the water to a boil.
  2. Turn off the water and add the teabag, cover and steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Rinse the mint.
  4. Add the mint and the verbena leaves to the pot, cover and steep 5 more minutes.
  5. Add the sugar and stir to combine, strain and serve.
  6. Place a sprig of mint in each glass or cup and pour in the strained tea.
  7. *To serve chilled*.
  8. Allow the tea to reach room temperature, then transfer the tea to a pitcher, cover and refrigerate until cold.
  9. This will prevent your tea from getting cloudy.
  10. Serve in a tall glass with ice and a mint sprig for garnish.
