  2. Sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread mustard on each slice.
  4. Dip in tempura flour dissolved in water and thickly coat with panko.
  5. If you have time, leave them to rest in the fridge at this stage.
  6. Deep-fry until crispy golden.
