For Bento: Eggs Folded in Ham
- 2 slice Ham
- 1 large Egg
- 1 tsp Mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp Sugar
- 1 as liked Salt
- 1 Vegetable oil
- Combine all the ingredients.
- Heat some vegetable oil in a frying pan over high heat.
- Spread evenly with a kitchen towel.
- Place on a damp cloth for 2 seconds and grill the ham over low to medium heat.
- Pour the beaten eggs on top of the ham.
- Gather the eggs that ran off on top of the ham (work fast here) and try to layer them over.
- Fold over and press lightly with a spatula.
- Turn over and cook some more to finish.
- Wait until it's slightly cooled and cut in half to get a nice cross-section.
- They're the perfect size for bento!
- Because the ham is slightly salty, I recommend you to use salt modestly.
- Sometimes I don't even use salt depending on the kind of ham I use.
