Betty's Venison Chops Recipe
- 1/4 tsp onion salt
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 4 x venison chops or possibly steaks (1 1/2 to 2 lbs total)
- 4 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp Liquid Smoke
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dsh Tabasco sauce
- In a small, shallow bowl, mix together onion salt, salt, pepper and flour.
- Dip chops or possibly steaks in mix and coat on all sides.
- Fry meat in oil till brown.
- Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
- Pour over browned meat and simmer till meat is tender - about 1 1/2 hrs.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
