Broccoli, Chicken and Noodle Casserole
- 4 ounces noodles medium
- 2 1/2 cups chicken chopped, cooked
- 1/2 cup onions chopped
- 10 ounces broccoli florets
- 10 ounces soup, cream of mushroom
- 1/2 cup milk skim, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup swiss cheese shredded
- 1 teaspoon basil
- salt to taste
- black pepper freshly ground, to taste
- Preheat oven at 350F (180C).
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- Drain.
- Prepare the bottom of a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish lightly with cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine noodles, chicken, onions, and broccoli.
- In another mixing bowl, combine soup, milk, cheese, basil, salt, and pepper(The canned soup already has lots of salt, so don't add too much salt in).
- Stir in noodle mixture.
- Pour entire mixture into prepared dish.
- Bake, covered for 40 minutes.
