Decadent Layered Cheesecake

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180C/350F Lightly grease a loose-bottomed 23 cm ring pan/cake tin.
  2. Crust :.
  3. Melt butter and mix with the crushed biscuits.
  4. Press onto the bottom and sides of the pan.
  5. Cool until needed.
  6. Filling:.
  7. Smoothly mix all the ingredients for the filling together, except for the whipped cream and cocoa powder.
  8. Fold the cream into the mixture, and pour HALF the mixture into the crust.
  9. Sieve cocoa powder over the remaining mixture and mix.
  10. Pour gently on top of the remaining mixture already in the pan.
  11. Bake 30 minutes in the pre-heated oven until light-brown around the edges.
  12. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  13. Chill until set.
  14. (I would suggest overnight if possible).
  15. Remove from pan and place on cake plate.
