Grandma's Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

  1. In large pan, saute/fry onion in extra virgin olive oil till tender, not brown.
  2. Add in celery, saute/fry till tender.
  3. Add in cut-up tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste.
  4. Add in spices, adjust to taste as necessary.
  5. Let cook 2-3 hrs on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add in mushrooms before serving.
  7. Great for freezing for future meals.
