Creole Beef Tips
- 2 lbs beef sirloin
- 8 ounces mushrooms
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 onions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 -2 tablespoon pepper
- 4 tablespoons cajun seasoning
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup water
- Marinate beef in soy & seasonings overnight before cooking.
- Saute beef in oil until browned.
- Add chopped onions & sliced mushrooms.
- Cook over medium heat for 20 mins; stir.
- Cook 15 mins more over low heat.
- Add tomatoes and water and simmer 1 hour or until meat is tender over low heat.
