Shepherd's Pasta Bake

• 1 lb ground lamb
• 2 eggs
• 1 large onion, peeled and coarsely chopped
• 3 large carrots, peeled and shredded
• 1 (16 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
• 14 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon garlic granules
• salt and pepper
• 1 lb small shell pasta, cooked and drained

1. Mix all the ingredients except for the cooked pasta shells together.
2. Add the pasta and thoroughly combine.
3. Bake covered in a 350F oven for 1 1/4 hours.
4. Uncover for an additional 10 minutes to get a crunchy top.
