Shepherd's Pasta Bake
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 2 eggs
- 1 large onion, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 3 large carrots, peeled and shredded
- 1 (16 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 14 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic granules
- salt and pepper
- 1 lb small shell pasta, cooked and drained
- Mix all the ingredients except for the cooked pasta shells together.
- Add the pasta and thoroughly combine.
- Bake covered in a 350F oven for 1 1/4 hours.
- Uncover for an additional 10 minutes to get a crunchy top.
