Chocolate Snow Balls

  1. Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy.
  2. Gradually add sugar and vanilla, beating well.
  3. Combine flour, cocoa, salt, and peanuts; gradually add to butter mixture until blended.
  4. Portion dough by teaspoonfuls; roll into balls.
  5. Place balls on ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Roll warm cookies in sifted powered sugar.
