Applesauce Tea Cakes Recipe
- 1/2 c. Margarine
- 1 x Egg
- 8 pkt Sweet and Low
- 1 3/4 c. Cake flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp Cloves, allspice, ginger
- 1 c. Unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1/3 c. Raisins
- 1/3 c. Minced walnuts

- Cream shortening till fluffy.
- Beat egg and Sweet and Low until lemon colored, add in to shortening alternately with applesauce, blending well after each addition.
- Add in vanilla, add in dry ingredients slowly.
- Stir in raisins and nuts.
- Heat oven to 375 .
- Line cupcake pans with paper liners, fill 2/3 full, bake for 15-20 min.
- Makes about 30 according to size of pan.
