Pork Chops with Pear and Cranberry Sauce
- Salt And Pepper
- 1 pound Boneless Pork Chops
- 3/4 cups Onion, Sliced
- 1/4 cups Cranberries, Fresh
- 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
- 1 whole Pear, Sliced
- 1/2 cups Apple Cider Or Apple Juice
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Salt and pepper boneless pork chops on both sides.
- Spray an oven safe skillet with cooking spray and place on medium heat.
- Brown pork chops on all sides.
- Set pork aside on a plate.
- In the same skillet, add onions and stir until tender, about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add cranberries and brown sugar.
- Stir and cook for about 30 seconds.
- Add your pork back into the skillet and add the pears and apple cider.
- Turn the pork over so that both sides are coated with the sauce.
- Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
- Let the pork cool for about 4 minutes so the juices run back in and serve with the pear and cranberry sauce from the pan.
- I served the whole skillet at the table.
- Makes four 4 oz.
