Time for the Game Beer Chili
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 (15 ounce) cans pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 3 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (12 ounce) bottle dark beer
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (4 1/2 ounce) canchopped green chilies
- 1 12 cups beef stock
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons cayenne
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1.Place a large Dutch oven over medium heat.
- 2.Add the beef, onion, and garlic.
- 3.Cook until the meat crumbles and is no longer pink; drain.
- 4.Add the beans, tomato sauce, beer, tomato paste, chiles, stock, chili powder, Worcestershire, cumin, cayenne, paprika, and hot sauce to the meat mixture.
- 5.Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat to low.
- 6.Simmer 3 hours or until thickened.
- 7.Serve hot.
