Holiday Spiced Prunes Recipe

  1. Cook prunes per instructions on box, till tender.
  2. Cold and remove pits.
  3. Combine sugar, liquid and spices.
  4. Cook on low heat till syrupy, maybe 10-15 min.
  5. Pour over prunes and mix lightly, being careful not to further mash prunes.
  6. Chill covered.
  7. Add in nuts about 1 hour before serving.
  8. Can be made several days ahead.
