Blackberry Crush

  1. ****To make simple syrup, bring 2 cups of water and 2 cups of sugar to boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Cool completely before using.
  3. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 months.
  4. In a small pitcher combine blackberries, lemon juice and simple syrup.
  5. Lightly crush the berries to release their juice.
  6. Add ice and vodka.
  7. Top with some seltzer.
  8. Stir to combine.
  9. Serve.
