Tuna Burgers
- 2 cans 5 Oz Cans Solid White Tuna In Water Drained
- 3/4 cups Seasoned (or Plain To Your Taste) Bread Crumbs
- 1 whole Egg
- 1/2 blocks Regular Cream Cheese (use 1/2 Of An 8 Ounce Package)
- 1 Tablespoon Dry Dill Weed
- 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil, For Frying
- 4 whole Hamburger Buns
- Optional Garnishes: Tartar Sauce, Cheese, Etc
- Combine all ingredients except oil, buns and garnishes.
- Mold into 4 burgers.
- Add oil to frying pan and heat well.
- Fry each burger about 2 minutes on each side until a nice crust forms.
- Then place on buns with tartar sauce or coleslaw or a slice of cheese and tomato and yummy!
- This is a good recession recipe, a nice change from hot dogs and beans nite.
