Popcorn Trees Recipe

• 6 tbsp. butter
• 10 1/2 ounce. pkg. mini marshmallows
• 1 teaspoon green food coloring
• 10 c. popped popcorn
• 1/4 c. brightly colored candy, M & M's, SKITTLES®

1. In a large saucepan, heat butter and marshmallows together over low heat, stirring frequently.
2. When smooth, stir in food coloring.
3. Place popcorn in a very large mixing bowl.
4. Pour marshmallows mix over popcorn.
5. Stir to mix well.
6. Using a half c. measure, make mounds of popcorn on waxed paper.
7. Let stand about 5 min.
8. With buttered hands mold each mound of popcorn into a tree shape.
9. Stick colored candies.
10. Wrap each tree in plastic wrap or possibly bag.
11. Makes 10 to 12 trees.
