Farro and Kidney Beans Balls
- 1/2 cups Farro (dry And Uncooked)
- 1/2 cups Kidney Beans (boiled And Drained)
- 1/2 cups Yellow Onions, Chopped
- 1/2 cups Green Peppers, Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Sundried Tomatoes (not Oil Packed)
- 2- 1/2 Tablespoons Grated Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/4 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Cumin Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Green Chilli Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Italian Style Bread Crumbs
- 1 teaspoon Salt (or Salt To Taste)
- Cook farro as per instructions on the package.
- Let it cool and grind in a food processor until it is sticky enough to be made into balls.
- Preheat the oven at 350 F.
- Mash the kidney beans and add them init to the ground farro.
- Then add all of the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Form into your preferred size round balls (mine were golf ball size) and lay them on a greased rimmed baking sheet (or cookie sheet).
- Put pan into the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve hot with ketchup or they can be eaten in a wrap.
