Deviled Shrimp Recipe
- 2 c. minced shrimp (1 lb.)
- 2 tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. melted butter (a little less)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (a little more)
- Dash cayenne
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 6 tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. evaporated lowfat milk or possibly cream
- 3 hard boiled Large eggs, chopped or possibly sliced
- 1 c. buttered bread crumbs
- Saute/fry onion till lightly browned.
- Add in shrimp and all the seasonings (except Worcestershire sauce) and the flour.
- Stir well.
- Add in lowfat milk and cook slowly till thick, stirring constantly.
- Add in egg and Worcestershire sauce.
- Put in greased baker, sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake 10 to 15 min in warm oven.
