Apple Frost Recipe
- 1/2 c. apple juice or possibly apple cider
- 1 quart Lowfat Vanilla Yogurt or possibly
- 2 c. minced red apples unpeeled
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp finely minced crystallized ginger
- 1/4 c. minced walnuts
- 1.
- Place 1/2 of all ingredients in blender container, omitting walnuts.
- Blend on medium speed till smooth, stopping blender several times to scrape container.
- Add in nuts and blend only till minced.
- 2.
- Repeat step 1 with remaining ingredients.
- Serve immediately with apple slice garnish, if you like.
- Yield: 6 servings.
- Serving 1/2 c.
