Holiday Brunch Casserole

  1. Put bread in well-buttered 9 X 13 inch baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  3. Combine eggs, milk, mustard, salt, onion powder and pepper.
  4. Pour over bread and cheese.
  5. Sprinkle cooked sausage, raw mushrooms and tomatoes (or pico de gallo) over top.
  6. Cover and chill overnight.
  7. Bake at 325 degrees (175 C.) for 1 hour.
  8. Tent with poil if top begins to brown too quickly.
