Batter Dipped Poppy Seed Crabs Recipe

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking pwdr and salt; stir in cornmeal and poppy seeds.
  2. In another bowl, lightly beat Large eggs; blend in lowfat milk, then combine lowfat milk mix with dry ingredients and stir till well blended.
  3. Add in a little more lowfat milk, if necessary, to make a smooth bater which will cling to crabs.
  4. Heat butter in a large, shallow skillet over medium heat.
  5. Dip crabs in batter to coat; add in to skillet and cook till golden on both sides, turning once.
  6. Serve with salsa.
  7. Makes about 4 servings.
