Best Oven Fried Chicken Recipe
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1 tsp onion pwdr
- 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme
- 1/2 tsp chopped fresh oregano
- 1 tsp chopped fresh basil
- 2 tsp paprika Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 x egg whites
- 1 tsp warm pepper sauce
- 1 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts halved
- 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and spices in a plastic bag.
- In a shallow bowl, beat the Large eggs and egg whites.
- Add in the warm pepper sauce.
- Dip each chicken breast into beaten Large eggs.
- Roll in the bread crumb mix.
- Spread the chicken breasts out on a cookie sheet.
- Drizzle extra virgin olive oil on each chicken breast.
- Bake the chicken for 30 to 35 min till no traces of pink remain.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
- Serving size: 3 to 4 ounces.
