Shitake Mushroom & Brie Crostini Recipe
- 1 lb soft brie cheese
- 12 shitake mushrooms a" slice thin
- 1 sweet French baguette
- 4 Tablespoons fresh chives, fine chop
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- If possible, let cheese sit a room temperature for 2 hours so if is easier to spread
- Slice baguette on an angle in 1/2 inch thickness
- Slice mushrooms and sautA in a bit of extra virgin olive oil over med high heat until brown and crisp
- Spread cheese on baguette and top with one or two mushroom
- Bake for 5-7 minutes or until cheese melts
- Garnish with chives and serve immediately
