Super-Speedy Pasta
- 7 ounces broccoli, cut into florets
- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 slices streaky bacon
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 14 cup white wine
- 78 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons ground almonds
- Cook the broccoli in a larg pan for 3-4 mins until just tender.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and refresh under cold running water.
- Add the pasta to the cooking water and cook according to the pack instructions and then drain.
- Heat the oil in a pan, cook the bacon until crispy, then remove.
- Add the chicken to the pan and fry for 5-6 mins until cooked through.
- Add the garlic and wine.
- Bubble for a few mins, add the cream, then bring to the boil.
- Mix in the broccoli, bacon and pasta.
- Sprinkle with the almonds then serve.
