Strawberry Butter

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook until berries are soft.
  3. Drain, reserving the juices.
  4. Place the berries in a food processor or blender and puree until smooth.
  5. Pass through a fine strainer.
  6. If too thick, add a few drops of reserved juices to thin.
