Strawberry Butter
- 1/2 lb. strawberries, hulled
- 1/4 cup apple cider
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 dash cinnamon
- Combine all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook until berries are soft.
- Drain, reserving the juices.
- Place the berries in a food processor or blender and puree until smooth.
- Pass through a fine strainer.
- If too thick, add a few drops of reserved juices to thin.
