Smart-Choice Parmesan Italian Pasta Bake
- 1-1/2 cups whole grain pasta, uncooked
- 1 lb. extra-lean ground beef Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1 large carrot, shredded (about 1 cup)
- 1 large zucchini, shredded
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1 cup CLASSICO Traditional Pizza Sauce
- 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) 2% Milk VELVEETA, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup KRAFT Reduced Fat Parmesan Style Grated Topping
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Meanwhile, brown meat in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat; drain.
- Return meat to skillet.
- Stir in vegetables and sauce; cook 5 min.
- or until vegetables are tender.
- Drain pasta.
- Add to meat mixture along with the 2% Milk VELVEETA; mix well.
- Spoon into 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with grated topping.
- Bake 15 to 20 min.
- or until heated through.
