Graham Nut Torte Recipe
- 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 heaping tbsp. flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- Mix crumbs, flour, and baking pwdr together.
- 1/2 c. butter 3 egg yolks
- Cream sugar and butter together.
- Add in yolks and beat till creamy.
- Add in lowfat milk and dry ingredients alternately to creamed sugar.
- 1 c. minced pecans
- Fold egg whites into batter.
- Add in nuts.
- Bake 50 min at 350 degrees in greased and floured torte pan or possibly bake 25 min in 2 (9 inch) cake tins.
- Slice torte when cold and put layers together with butter frosting.
