Parmesan Cheerios

  1. Place Parkay (see note below) in a 13x9 pan and slide into a cold oven.
  2. Set oven to 250 degrees .
  3. When oven is hot and margarine is melted, remove pan to the counter and add parmesan.
  4. Combine Parkay and parmesan to create a loose paste.
  5. Dump in the Cheerios and mix with a wide spatula to coat.
  6. Return to the oven for one hour, stirring carefully (man overboard!)
  7. every fifteen minutes.
  8. Allow to cool completely; store covered (hellooo, Ziploc) at room temperature.
  9. Note: Im usually die-hard TEAM BUTTER, and Ive tried other margarines (my daughter cant tell the difference), but Parkay tastes the best to me.
