Stuffed Cabbage Leaves(Golabk)

  1. Boil whole head of cabbage for about 5 to 10 minutes until leaves are a little limp.
  2. Remove and cool.
  3. Cut or pull off leaves and chop up remaining cabbage and set aside.
  4. Try to keep each leaf in one piece.
  5. Mix ingredients well and place small amount into each leaf and roll up securely.
  6. Set aside until all are wrapped.
  7. Place rest of cabbage in kettle and put cabbage rolls on top.
  8. Add 1 quart tomatoes and 1/2 cup water.
  9. Boil on stove about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  10. Also can be baked at 350u0b0 for about 1 hour.
