Hot Chocolate Pudding Recipe
- 3 c. scalded lowfat milk
- 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate & 2 tbsp. butter, melted in double boiler
- 1/3 c. cornstarch
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Additional butter topping (optional)
- Heat butter and chocolate in double boiler.
- Add in sugar, salt and cornstarch with wooden spoon; mix well.
- Stir in scalded lowfat milk slowly and stir till thickened.
- Cover and cook about 15 min.
- Serve warm with pat of butter on top.
